Hello, dear reader! Thank you for being here. My name is Malcolm. I’m arriving at film analysis primarily through acting and editing, stretching my critical thinking muscles in this fast evolving cultural landscape. I gained a critic outlook through my Honors B.A. in Drama, from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. I created this substack to share my thoughts on film and further develop my critical and analytic skills. It’s my aim is to share a deeper understanding of the production, marketing and narrative construction of mainstream films in addition to a simple thumbs up/thumbs down agenda. It’s my aim to post weekly, and hope to give you reason to keep returning. Lets share our love of film together.
